NASCR veteran, Brendan Gaughan will drive the TRG Motorsports #71 South Point Chevy at this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. Gaughan, from Las Vegas, is fresh off of a 17th place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in his season long Nationwide South Point Toyota. Gaughan last made a NSCS start in 2005 at Pocono, subbing for an ill Mike Bliss. His Phoenix resume is rich in top finishes including a fourth place in the Nationwide race this past Spring and six top 15 finishes in the Camping World Truck Series.
