McMurray re-signs with Ganassi: #1-Jamie McMurray has finalized a multi-year deal with Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, his agent confirmed on Wednesday. ESPN.com reported in July after McMurray won the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis that EGR was in the process of negotiating a new deal. McMurray signed a one-year deal when he came to EGR from Roush Fenway Racing last season. McMurray’s agent, Rod Moskowitz, said there never was a doubt that a new deal would be reached based on the driver’s relationship with EGR and sponsors Bass Pro Shops and McDonald’s. “It’s obviously a formality,” Moskowitz said.(ESPN.com)(1-19-2011)
