Limited Nationwide schedule likely for R3 Motorsports: UPDATE:

Robert Richardson, Jr. plans to run the Daytona 500 for Front Row Motorsports, just as he did last year for the team, when he finished 31st. Richardson also says that R3 Motorsports, which has attempted the Daytona 500 and other Cup races in the past, currently has no plans to run in the Sprint Cup Series this year. R3 does intend on running at least a partial Nationwide Series schedule this year, but, Richardson says, no firm plans on a schedule of races has been planned. Richardson, though, has not ruled out the possibility of running all of the Nationwide Series races. “If the right opportunities arise, we can run the full season. We will have a better idea by the time Daytona comes around.”(WSBRadio.com)(1-18-2011)
UPDATE: The original post has been updated regarding the team’s Nationwide Series plans: “R3 does intend on running at least a full Nationwide Series schedule this year, but, Richardson says, no firm plans on a driver and sponsor lineup are in place. “Nothing has been finalized. We are still in search of partnerships with companies who are wanting to advertise in NASCAR,” Richardson told WSB via email. “Walter Giles is listed as our crew chief. We have the capability to run two teams out of our stable. We have currently completed an adition to our shop to house a second team if necessary.” (WSBRadio.com)(1-20-2011)
