Turn One Racing, founded by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, Stacy Compton, arrived to GMP early this morning to test before Daytona.Drivers, Cole Whitt and Justin Marks tested the NASCAR Camping World trucks. With only one NCWTS race behind him at Homestead in 2010, Whitt has a full-time ride as Red Bull Racing Team’s development driver with Turn One Racing for 2011. Whitt’s teammate, Justin Marks, is no stranger to the NASCAR truck series. Marks ran a partial season in the NCWTS in 2008 before running a partial schedule in ARCA in 2009 and a full ARCA schedule in 2010. Marks will make his return to the NCWTS at Daytona in the No. 66 Chevrolet Silverado. Both drivers were impressed by GMP and had a successful test.(Gresham Motorsports Park PR)(2-12-2011)
