Eric McClure posted on Facebook Wednesday evening, “Took a spill last night and broke bone in my right hand. things seem to happen to me lately. I’m tough, though”. He tripped over his daughter Mabreigh’s birthday party supplies in the kitchen floor (her party is Saturday) and tried to catch himself. He broke a small bone below his pinkie knuckle on his right hand. He will be in Charlotte Monday to get a special cast made for his steering wheel and the plan is to race at Bristol.(3-9-2011)
UPDATE: McClure has been cleared to race and plans to compete in Saturday’s Scotts EZ Seed 300. In the event that a relief driver is needed during the weekend, former Nationwide Series Champion Jeff Green will be on standby.(TMI PR)(3-14-2011)
