Paludo making rare “return” track visit at Dover: UPDATE Lucas Oil/K&N onboard as sponsors; image added:

As a Rookie-of-the-Year contender in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2011, Miguel Paludo [No. 7 Lucas Oil / K&N Filters Toyota Tundra] will be seeing the majority of the tracks on the schedule for the first time. However, Dover International Speedway will not be one of them. Last season Paludo completed a partial schedule in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, running his final series event at “The Monster Mile” last September. Paludo started 27th and moved up to a 14th place finish. Racing to raise awareness: When Paludo was 19 years of age he discovered that he had Type I diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce insulin, which inhibits the body from converting sugar, starches and other food into energy. Paludo is not only racing to prove his talent and win a race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and beyond, but he is racing to bring awareness to diabetes and show children of all ages that no matter what life throws your way, you too can be a champion.(Red Horse Racing PR)(5-9-2011)
