*Kyle Busch won the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for his 28th Truck series victory in his 91st start, tying Mike Skinner and Jack Sprague for second all time in wins. It was Busch’s fourth series win at Charlotte, the most of all drivers.
*Busch posted his 97th NASCAR National Touring Series win, tying Dale Earnhardt and Darrell Waltrip (Earnhardt had 76 Cup wins, Waltrip had 84 Cup wins and Busch has 21). It was Busch’s 11th NASCAR national series win in 2011 (five in Nationwide, four in Trucks, two in Cup).
*Busch has finished first or second in 11 of the past 12 truck races he has entered.
*Busch led once for seven laps. He recovered from a spin on Lap 51 while running fourth.
*Kyle Busch Motorsports posted its 13th win overall and fifth victory of 2011.
*Toyota posted its 86th win overall and second victory at Charlotte in the Truck series. The manufacturer has six wins in 2011, the most of all makes.
*Clint Bowyer (second) has finished first or second in his past three starts. He led three times for a race-high 54 laps in his first Truck series Charlotte start.
*Cole Whitt (third) has finished in the top 14 in all seven races this season. He leads the points by one over Johnny Sauter (first time a rookie of the year contender led the point standings).
*James Buescher (fourth) rebounded from a battery issue on Lap 71 that brought him to pit road while running fifth.

*Johnny Sauter (sixth) has top-10 finishes in all but two races this season.
*Austin Dillon (seventh) posted his fourth top-10 finish of 2011.
*Parker Kligerman (eighth) posted his career-best finish in his eighth start.
*Kimi Raikkonen (15th), the 2007 Formula One champion, made his Truck series debut.
