#2-Brad Keselowski won the STP 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway for his 1st win of 2011 and 2nd win of his career. The race came down to fuel mileage with many drivers having to pit with less than 20 laps to go. Keselowski, Earnhart, Jr. and Hamlin all stretched their mileages to make it to the end.
#88-Earnhardt, Jr. finished second followed by #11-Hamlin, #24-Gordon, #99-Edwards, #17-Kenseth, #48-Johnson, #14-Stewart, #22-Busch, and #16-Biffle. #99-Edwards’ point lead is now 40 over #48-Johnson.
There were 17 lead changes among 9 drivers; 5 cautions for 22 yellow flag laps. The attendance is listed as 80,000. Last year the only race at Kansas, held in the fall, drew 100,000.
