ESPN’s live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway on Friday night, July 8, earned a 1.2 household coverage rating, averaging 1,586,000 viewers, according to the Nielsen Company. The rating was down from last year’s Kentucky race, which aired on a Saturday night in June and earned a 1.4 rating.
