Red Horse Racing team owner Tom DeLoach calls Georgia home. DeLoach is a native of Statesboro, Georgia and studied chemical engineering at Georgia Tech, where he continues to serve on GT’s Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Advisory Board. The GT alum purchased Red Horse Racing during the 2005 season and currently fields two trucks, the No. 7 (Miguel Paludo) and No. 17 (Timothy Peters), in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Prior to his NASCAR ownership, DeLoach held various executive positions in Mobil Corporation, while serving as the senior contact for Mobil’s worldwide motorsports program. He is also a director and the non-executive Chairman for Asbury Automotive Group in Duluth, Georgia. Paludo will make his first laps around the 1.5-mile speedway on Friday. Peter’s hopes to earn his third top-five finish in a row this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway and top his career best finish of seventh at the 1.5-mile track.(Red Horse Racing PR)(8-29-2011)
