With Danica Patrick and GoDaddy.com on board with JR Motorsports’ #7 Chevy full-time next season, proud team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. is happy for the Indy Car immigrant. He also is happy that, for the first time in a long time, the driver and sponsorship lineup for his two-car team will not be full of questions. “We’re looking good on sponsorship for Aric [Almirola, driver of the #88 NNS Chevy] and Danica. So next year, we should look more consistent,” Earnhardt Jr. said at a National Guard appearance Friday. While Almirola has been the sole proprietor of the #88 JR Motorsports driver’s seat, the #7 has had a carousel of driver in between Patrick’s Nationwide Series races. Josh Wise has run 13 races and Ron Fellows, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, and even Earnhardt Jr. himself have also run in the car.(WSB Radio)(9-3-2011)
