Scott Riggs is looking forward to all 200 laps of action at Texas Motor Speedway in the #03 McKinney Pipe and Steel Chevy of R3 Motorsports this Saturday afternoon. Despite the fact he’ll have to qualify in on time, the winner of four NASCAR Nationwide Series races has some pretty good numbers on his side at the Ft. Worth facility. In his two previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, Riggs has started in the 12th and fourth positions in 2002 and 2003, respectively. The funding for this weekend came from within the R3 Motorsports family, literally, as Jan Richardson, wife of team owner Robert Richardson, Sr. and mother of driver Robert Jr., put her company on the #03 Chevy for sponsorship.
