Coca Cola drivers spreading the word:

  • This weekend, the Coca-Cola Racing Family will bring snow to the desert in Phoenix to spread the word about the Arctic Home campaign. Coca-Cola has partnered with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) this holiday season to raise awareness and funds to help conserve the polar bear’s Arctic habitat. Race fans can donate $1 by purchasing a white Coke can or bottled Coke product with a white cap and texting the packaging code. Coca-Cola will match each $1 donation. At the Phoenix race, several CCRF drivers will have a white-capped Arctic Home paint scheme on the roof their car this weekend. The drivers will also wear white Arctic Home caps. #1-Jamie McMurray will wear a white Arctic Home firesuit. Coca-Cola is bringing the Arctic Home program to fans who attend the last three races of the season. At each of the final three races, several members of the Coca-Cola Racing Family, including Tony Stewart and Joey Logano, will wear white Coca-Cola Arctic Home caps. At Phoenix, five drivers, including Denny Hamlin and David Ragan, also will sport special paint schemes featuring snow-capped roofs, and Jamie McMurray will don a white, Arctic Home-inspired firesuit for the race. A massive group card stunt at the Homestead-Miami race will reveal a special Arctic Home message to generate awareness for the program among viewers watching on television. Beginning Nov. 1, more than 1.4 billion white Coke cans will help raise awareness and funds to protect the polar bears’ home. Coca-Cola has never before changed the color of the red can to support a cause. White bottle caps also will be on bottles of Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Nestea, Minute Maid and more.
