Ty Dillon, the 19-year-old grandson of team owner Richard Childress, will make his first NASCAR start of the 2012 season and fourth-career NCWTS start when he takes the green flag at Daytona International Speedway this weekend. Although Dillon has yet to make any laps at the Daytona Beach, Fla.-based facility in the Truck Series, he made one start at the 2.5-mile tri-oval last year in the ARCA Racing Series earning the pole award and finishing in the 11th position. Dillon and the #3 team will sport the famous colors of Bass Pro Shops for the 2012 NCWTS season. The Lewisville, N.C., native joins older brother Austin Dillon, Jamie McMurray and Tony Stewart in the NASCAR lineup of Bass Pro Shops drivers.(Richard Childress Racing PR)(2-21-2012)
