Jeb Burton, Driver of the #27 State Water Heaters Chevrolet for Hillman Racing is making his first trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway for this Friday’s North Carolina Education Lotttery 200. If you ask Jeb, he will be the first to tell you he won’t make the same mistake he made in Kansas. The rookie driver was humbled as he lost the truck on the first lap slamming it into the wall and finishing his day. The expensive lessoned learned was not letting the air pressure in his tires build up, and as he drove into the turn, it pushed him right into the wall. But as every driver will admit, they all have a story or two about similar instances where they made a “rookie” mistake. As Jeb heads to Charlotte he is able to put his rookie mistake behind and tackle the 1.5 mile quad-oval for redemption.(Hillman Racing PR)(5-15-2012)
