When Dale Earnhardt Jr. roars to a start at Michigan International Speedway on June 17, his #88 Diet Mountain Dew Chevy will feature one of four paint schemes inspired by the highly anticipated final film in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Batman’ trilogy. From now until the end May 25th, fans will be able to vote for one of four ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ paint schemes via Diet Mountain Dew’s ‘Dew Crew’ Facebook page. The paint scheme that gets the most votes will be the car that Earnhardt takes to Michigan International Speedway – the track where he clinched his last victory. Lionel NASCAR Collectables is offering all four of the ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ car designs as 1:24 die-cast. The car that wins the fan vote will be made in a 1:24 ARC Platinum and ELITE version. All four cars are also being offered in a 1:64 scale set.(LNC Pit Box), see images of the scheme on my #88 Team Schemes page or LNC Pit Box.(5-16-2012)
