Bowyer Wins Pennzoil Victory Burnout Challenge:

During pre-race activities for Saturday night’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Pennzoil held its fifth annual Pennzoil Victory Burnout Challenge, which included five NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers. When the smoke cleared, #15-Clint Bowyer won his first competition, after having competed in the previous four. The four other NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers competing in the competition were Shell/Pennzoil driver #22-A.J. Allmendinger, #2-Brad Keselowski, and former Pennzoil Victory Burnout Challenge winners #5-Kasey Kahne and #20-Joey Logano. Each driver took a turn in a different Richard Petty Driving School Pennzoil race car. Fans voted for the top two burnouts before a panel of three celebrity judges voted Bowyer the winner. The judges were Miss Sprint Cup, Jaclyn Roney; Colby Donaldson, a veteran of television’s ‘Survivor’ and host of ‘Top Shot;’ and Kim Spradlin, 2012 winner of the ‘Survivor.’ Bowyer is donating the $10,000 first place check to his charity, the Employee Community Foundation in his hometown of Emporia, Kan.(CMS Pit Notes)(5-19-2012)
