Hornaday — Kentucky Fast Facts:

Ron Hornaday Jr. heads to Kentucky Speedway for this weekend’s UNOH 225 to defend his title as the October 2011 NCWTS race winner. Four-time NCWTS champion, Ron Hornaday will be driving for win number four at Kentucky Speedway in his #9 Joe Denette Motorsports Chevrolet. With 51 wins to his resume, the series veteran is still looking for his first win with Joe Denette Motorsports in 2012. In eight starts at the 1.5-mile tri-oval, Hornaday has led 141 laps en route to three wins, one pole, three top-five and five top-10 finishes. In 2011, Hornaday started second and led 42 laps before bringing home his third victory of 2011. Ron Hornaday is one of only two active NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers that have won at Kentucky Speedway, and is the only repeat NCWTS winner at Kentucky. Hornaday is currently ninth in the 2012 NCWTS driver point standings heading into this weekend’s event in the Blue Grass State, just 29 points out of fifth and 54 points behind leader, Justin Lofton.
