Bill Elliott [made] his 828th career Sprint Cup start Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway, and whether he runs his 829th race is still to be determined. The 56-year-old Elliott wouldn ‘t call the Coke Zero 400 as his last race but he doesn ‘t have anything else planned at the moment. ‘Right now, I don ‘t have anything planned,’ Elliott said Friday after qualifying before laughing when people suggested this would be his last Cup event. ‘It’s the last race for a little while anyway. The way I go this day and time, it could be my last race. I ‘m always open (to driving). I enjoy the people and having a good time.’(Sporting News)(7-8-2012)
