Chrissy Wallace to drive at Kansas: For the second time, Chrissy Wallace will team up with her father, Mike, in a NASCAR Nationwide Series race when the green flag falls over Kansas Speedway on Saturday, October 20. The younger Wallace will drive a #4 Chevy for JD Motorsports w/Gary Keller at the 1.5-mile oval with associate sponsorship from JEGS; the team is still seeking a primary partner for the race. This will be her third NNS start and 10th overall NASCAR start as she’s raced in seven NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events, as well. In 2010, Chrissy was a teammate to Mike at Talladega Superspeedway where she started 18th and finished 24th. Since then, she’s kept herself busy in Late Model competition. She was the 2011 ASA Late Model West Series champion and Late Model divisional champion at Lebanon I-44 (Missouri) Speedway. Right up until the last weekend of competition, she slugged it out for the ASA Overall National championship having to settle for second by a close margin.(JD Motorsports)(10-12-2012)
