Swan Racing announced that Tony Eury Jr. has been named competition director for the team, replacing Steve Hmeil. Steven ‘Bones” Lane has been named crew chief for the #30 Toyota driven by David Stremme. Hmeil was relieved of his duties. This move reunites Lane and Stremme as crew chief and driver combination. Lane was Stremmes crew chief from 2011 2012. The two also worked together in 2006 2007 and for one race in 2008. ‘We made changes in the front office today that we believe will have a long term benefits for the team going forward’ said Swan Racing owner Brandon Davis. ‘I want to thank Steve Hmeil for his service, we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.” Eury said, ‘This team is committed to making progress every week.
