Kyle Busch won the 17th Annual NRA 500, his 26th victory in 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. Busch now moves into a tie for 23rd on the all-time series wins list with NASCAR Hall of Fame nominee Fred Lorenzen. This is his second victory and fifth top-10 finish in 2013. Buschs first win of 2013 was at Auto Club Speedway. This is his first victory and seventh top-10 finish in 16 races at Texas Motor Speedway. His previous best finish at Texas was third, three different times. Martin Truex Jr. (second) posted his eighth top-10 finish in 16 races at Texas Motor Speedway.
