Following Friday nights race in Texas, NASCAR officials confirmed on the official Truck Series Twitter feed that the #29 Brad Keselowski owned Ford driven by Ryan Blaney failed post race inspection for being too low, ‘with more details early next week.” Blaney finished eighth on Friday, and currently sits fifth in the driver point standings.(6-8-2013) UPDATE: Penalties have been issued to the #29 team in the Camping World Truck Series as a result of violations following the June 7 event at Texas Motor Speedway. The #29 truck was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4J (any determination by NASCAR officials that the race equipment used in the event does not conform to NASCAR rules detailed in Section 20-B of the rule book) and 20B-12.8.1A (The roof failed to meet the minimum height requirement during post-race inspection) of the 2013 rule book. As a result of this violation, crew chief Doug Randolph has been fined $5,000.
