Austin Dillon won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 12th Annual Subway Firecracker 250 with a lap of 50.298 seconds, 178.934 mph. This is his ninth pole in 60 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his sixth pole and 14th top-10 start in 2013. This is his first pole in four races at Daytona International Speedway. Travis Pastrana (second) posted his fifth top-10 start of 2013 and his second in two races at Daytona International Speedway. Ty Dillon(i) (third) posted his first top-10 start at Daytona International Speedway. It is his third in five races this season. Alex Bowman (12th) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
