The #17 Toyota driven by Timothy Peters failed post race inspection on Saturday following the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway for being too low. Peters finished 14th on Saturday and is currently eighth in the driver point standings. At Texas in June, Ryan Blaneys team failed post race inspection for the same issue, with the crew chief being issued with a $5,000 fine, Blaney was docked six driver points, and team owner Brad Keselowski was docked six owner points. A NASCAR spokesperson said via the Truck Series Twitter feed that the sanctioning body would ‘follow up early in the week.”
