He took the lead from #24-Gordon with less 2 laps to go and pulled away to a margin of victory of 1.392 seconds. He also led the most laps on the day, 66 of 160. #24-Gordon finished 2nd followed by #78-Busch, #39-Newman, #88-Earnhardt, Jr., #2-Keselowski, #22-Logano, #18-Busch, #14-Stewart, and #16-Biffle. Pole sitter and points leader, #48-Jimmie Johnson, cut a tire midway through the race and finished 13th. There were 27 lead changes among 14 drivers and 9 cautions for 35 yellow flag laps.
