Little hopes to follow his father to Truck Series with new sponsor:

Adam Wynsma and his father, Tim, are confident that their Jenison-based JeanSavers business is ready to take off. The fact that the Wynsmas have hitched a ride with one of stock car racings rising stars should only help. Adam Wynsma, right, and his father, Tim Wynsma, attended this past Saturdays NASCAR K&N race in New Hampshire. Jesse Little, a native of Sherrills Ford, N.C, and the 16-year-old son of former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Chad Little, raced in this past Saturdays NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at New Hampshire with JeanSavers on the quarterpanel of his #97 Chevy. Little finished sixth overall. Company marketing director Fred VanderPloeg said JeanSavers is hoping to grow with Little, and that means sponsoring him through the end of this season and into the future. Little also is the grandson of Chuck Little, who raced in Sprint Cup in 1975.”I worked with Chad for a number of years when he was racing in NASCAR’ said VanderPloeg, of Grand Haven, who has enjoyed a lengthy career in motorsports promotion. ‘Jeans are the uniform of the day at a NASCAR race, and with the company growing and Jesse coming up through the NASCAR K&N ranks, I said ‘Lets give Chad a call. ‘Jesses goal is to grow into the Truck Series, and JeanSavers goal is to grow right up there with him.” Chad Little earned 1989 Sprint Cup Rookie of the Year honors, and he continued to race Cup through 2002. He is currently the director of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Little enters the Dover race 11th in the point standings with three top-five finishes through 12 races.( Michigan Live )
