#48-Jimmie Johnson won the AAA 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway for his 5th win of 2013, 8th win at Dover (a new track record) and 65th career win . #88-Earnhardt Jr., the pole sitter, finished 2nd followed by #22-Logano, #24-Gordon, #18-Busch, #29-Harvick, #20-Kenseth, #39-Newman, 16-Biffle and #15-Bowyer The top 10 finishers were all Chase drivers. #5-Kahne finished 13th with a sour engine, #78-Busch finished 21st after having to make an unscheduled pit stop for a loose wheel and the worst finishing Chase driver was #99-Edwards who had rear hub go bad late in the race and finished 35th. There were 19 lead changes among 8 drivers and 4 cautions for 21 yellow flag laps. The average speed was 130.909mph. NASCAR no longer announces the track attendance.
