Harvick breaks a 254-race pole drought with todays pole. His last pole came at New Hampshire in Sept. 2006, a race he won. This is Richard Childress Racings first pole since Sept. 2007 at New Hampshire (Clint Bowyer). This is his first pole and eighth top-10 start in 2013. This is his first pole in 16 races at Kansas Speedway. #17-Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (second) posted his sixth top-10 start of 2013 and his second in two races at Kansas Speedway. #48-Jimmie Johnson (third) posted his eighth top-10 start at Kansas Speedway.
