While Brian Vickers, the regular fulltime driver of the #20 Dollar General Toyota, is out of the car dealing with health issues, Joe Gibbs Racing development driver Drew Herring will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel. Filling in for Vickers, Herring will be piloting the Dollar General Camry for the final two races of the 2013 season at Phoenix International Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. Herrings talent was discovered by JGR driver Denny Hamlin while the two raced Late Models against each other on short tracks throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Although Saturdays 200-lap Nationwide Series event will be 26-year-old Herrings first time racing at Phoenix International Raceway, his short-track racing background should be fitting for competing on the one-mile Avondale, Ariz.-oval.(Joe Gibbs Racing)
