Ray named Dir. of Business Development at TSM:

Kevin Ray is the new director of business operations for Turner Scott Motorsports. For the past seven years, Ray was team manager for Red Horse Racing in the NASCAR Truck Series. He oversaw the three-truck operation that last year included Timothy Peters, John Wes Townley and German Quiroga. Ray’s responsibilities will more than double at Turner Scott Motorsports. The organization fields two full-time Nationwide Series teams, two truck teams and entries in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series. As a second-generation racer, Ray said he is looking forward to the challenge that includes overseeing the development of Kyle Larson, Jeb Burton, Dylan Kwasniewski and Ben Kennedy. The 36-year-old native of Eastaboga, Ala., made 20 starts in ARCA over eight seasons. His career-best finish of fourth came at his home track, Talladega Superspeedway, in 2005. That same season, Ray made his only Nationwide Series start. He qualified 35th at what is now O’Reily Raceway Park and finished 21st.(Fox Sports)(1-15-2014)
