Joe Nemechek and his SWM-NEMCO Motorsports team will give The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center a high-speed salute this weekend as they sport the MD Anderson logo on their #8 Toyota Tundra in this weekend’s SFP 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Kansas Speedway. Sid Mauldin, owner of SWM and partner in SWM-NEMCO Motorsports is currently receiving treatment at MD Anderson, located in Houston, TX and wanted to share his experience with the NASCAR community while showing support for the facility that has provided such impeccable care. Nemechek, who is sharing the NCWTS season with his 16 year-old son, John Hunter, had what he considers one of his most memorable racing moments at the 1.5-mile tri-oval. In October 2004, Nemechek swept the weekend, winning both the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.(SWM-NEMCO)
