Johnny Sauter won the 15th Annual Careers for Veterans 200 Presented by The Cooper Standard Foundation & Brad Keselowski’s Checkered Flag Foundation, his 10th victory in 142 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
This is his first victory and 10th top-10 finish in 2014. His last victory came at Talladega on October 19,2013.
This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in six races at Michigan International Speedway. Sauter has now won at least one race in six consecutive seasons. The all-time record is eight, by Dennis Setzer.
Today’s average speed was 161.110 mph, the fastest average speed in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history. The previous record was 154.737 mph at Texas Motor Speedway on November 2, 2012.
