This is his track-record fourth victory and 17th top-10 finish in 23 races at Texas Motor Speedway. Johnson had previously been in a tie with Carl Edwards for the all-time wins lead at Texas.
This is Johnson’s 25th victory during the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
