Dylan Lupton to run some XFINITY races?

2014 proved to be a career-changing season for former Bob Bruncati Motorsports driver Dylan Lupton, after the developing racer announced he will be competing in the NASCAR XFINITY Series for an unannounced team in 2015. The move will be a chance that allows Lupton, 22, to embark upon a career in the NASCAR national series ranks after two seasons in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West – a stint that saw him pick up two victories (at Kern County Speedway and Evergreen Speedway). “I can tell everyone a little bit about my 2015 plans – but not all the details. First off, I will not be returning to the K&N West Series or the K&N Series for that matter. I will be racing part-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series – I cannot release the details of the tracks or team that I am running with though. But we have aligned verbal commitment to a racing team.” Lupton does not expect the adjustment to the new cars to be to be a difficult one, especially after watching fellow K&N drivers Chase Elliott and Dylan Kwasniewski be successful after jumping to NASCAR’s second-tier series. Along with his performances in the K&N West Series, a huge part in giving Lupton the recognition to get noticed in national spotlight was his induction to the 2014 NASCAR NEXT class, something he credits a lot for the new opportunities he has been presented with.(Race Chaser Online)(1-26-2015)
