Boris Said to run the #32 Ford at Sonoma:

After a weekend off, the #32 Go Green Racing team will head west to Wine Country for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway with Boris Said. This weekend’s event will mark Said’s 50th career start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) and his 16th start at the 1.99-mile road course. Said has 32 starts in five different types of vehicles at Sonoma. Said has three starts in the American Le-Mans Series (ALMS), one start in the Grand-Am Series, five NASCAR Southwest Tour (NSWT) starts, five NASCAR K&N West Series starts (NKNPS), three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) starts, and 15 NSCS starts. In 32 starts, Said has found victory lane twice, winning the 1998 NCWTS event, and the 1999 ALMS event. Said also has two poles at Sonoma, including one In 2003 where Said won his first career NSCS pole award, and followed that up with another pole award in 2004 in the NSWT.
Boris Said on Sonoma: “All year long I wait for two weekends, Sears point and Watkins glen. I always feel like a little kid at Christmas time when I think about getting behind the wheel of a cup car at Sears Point. I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the #32 Ford Fusion for Go Green Racing and driving the wheels off the thing.” This weekend’s event at the Sonoma Raceway will feature three new local partners for the GGR team. Oakland, CA based company‚ The Loss Prevention Group, and Roseville, CA based company‚ SBC Contractors‚ will make their first appearance of the 2015 season with GGR starting with this weekend’s Toyota/Save Mart 350.
