Brian Scott adds a new look to the #44 Ford Fusion in the team’s first road course race of the season. Blue-Emu, an over-the-counter muscle and joint cream, will be a co-primary partner with Safeway on the #44 Ford Fusion at Sonoma Raceway this weekend. While Scott will be making his debut at Sonoma Raceway, this will not be Blue-Emu’s debut as a primary partner with Richard Petty Motorsports. Blue-Emu has been an associate partner with the organization since 2014 and was featured as a primary partner last season at the Bristol night race. ‘The relationship we have built with the Blue-Emu brand over the past year is something we are very proud of,’ said Mike Hargrave, Chief Marketing Officer and EVP of Richard Petty Motorsports. ‘We’re excited to continue our support of Blue-Emu to the millions of NASCAR fans.’ Blue-Emu is a product of Nutrition & Fitness, Inc. (dba / NFI Consumer Products), an innovative consumer products company that manufactures, markets and distributes the Blue-Emu line of products for muscle, joint and skin conditions as well as their recent launch, the first over the counter lidocaine pain patch: Lidocare. ‘Our product line was recently added by Safeway and by partnering with Richard Petty Motorsports at Sonoma, this provided us an unique way of announcing it. Given Safeway’s strength on the West Coast and Blue-Emu’s commitment to consumer focused retailer brand partnerships, this was an opportunity that could not be missed,’ said Benjamin Blessing, EVP of NFI Consumer Products. Scott will be competing in his first race of his NASCAR career at Sonoma Raceway this weekend.(RPM), see images of the car on the #44 team paint schemes page.
