Chip Ganassi Racing and Kyle Larson will honor Target’s start in auto racing at this year’s Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. The team revealed Tuesday on social media the #42 Chevy to be used. The slick scheme honors Target’s first car in motorsports, in IndyCar in 1990. The bull’s-eye on the roof is a nod to both Chip Ganassi Racing’s relationship with Target, and also CGR’s roots in IndyCar racing.
