NASCAR released the Post-Event Penalty Report for Michigan International Speedway. There were two XFINITY infractions: Joe Gibbs Racing’s #20 team was penalized for the splitter not being flat. The race win was encumbered, crew chief (Chris Gabehart) has been fined $25,000 and suspended from the next two NASCAR XFINITY Series Championship Points Events, and the team has been assessed with the loss of 25 NASCAR XFINITY Series owner points.
