Needing a breakthrough victory to advance to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, Erik Jones took the first step in that direction on Friday, winning the Coors Light Pole Award for Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
