SUGAR HILL, Ga. (August 29, 2017) -Ryan Sieg and his RSS Racing team will have a special tribute paint scheme for Darlington throwback weekend. Ryan will be honoring his late brother Shane who tragically passed away last weekend. The paint scheme was raced by Shane in a late model during the 2003 season. Shane went to victory lane at Huntsville Speedway that year in a NASCAR Southeast Series race driving for the family race team.
The team has evolved from S & W Motorsports to now known as RSS Racing and still carries the #39 number. The RSS team name stands for Ryan Shane Sieg Racing. “This is the ultimate tribute for my family,” commented Ryan Sieg. “My brother had a love for racing and I’m honored to carry this scheme at Darlington. For my family and our friends this is a very special tribute. I just want everyone to smile when they see the car on track this weekend.”
