Stand Up to Cancer at Martinsville for team owner Mittler

We all know that even though racing is a competition we are also a family. One of our family and team owners, Mike Mittler of the #63 needs your help to Stand Up to Cancer and a few prayers, too. Mike is battling Cancer and we are asking you to Stand Up to Cancer with our team and all of the other NASCAR Camping World Truck Teams on lap 60-63. Mike cannot make it to the race this weekend but will be watching on TV.

For those of you that don’t know, Mike here is a little bit of his background. Mike is one of the most dedicated racers and a founding member of the Truck Series. When the Series was merely a concept Mike was there. The inaugural season for the Truck Series, and MB Motorsports, was 1995. Mike has had a truck in the field every year for 24 seasons.

There have been 49 drivers that have driven for Mike. Kyle’s Donahue’s Crew Chief this weekend is Doug George. Doug has also driven for Mike in the #63. Other drivers include: Jamie McMurray, Justin Allgaier, Brad Keselowski, and Carl Edwards. It is a long list of people that have driven for Mike and worked with Mike over the years.

Mike is always there to help other teams when they need anything. Mike also always says it is a team effort and thankful for the dozens of volunteers for all of the years of MB Motorsports.

After the Martinsville race he will have participated in 300 races and logged over 30,000 laps.
