ISM Raceway announced today that it has enlisted longtime medical services provider American Medical Response (AMR) as the Official Medical Transportation Provider for the Raceway. As part of the multi-year agreement, the infield care center at ISM Raceway will also officially become the AMR Care Center. The new AMR Care Center was unveiled during a special ceremony earlier today, leading into ISM Raceway’s Opening Weekend and the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series semifinal playoff race on Sunday, November 11.
“AMR has provided excellent care to NASCAR teams and race fans for several years here at ISM Raceway,” said Julie Giese, President of ISM Raceway. “We’re excited to elevate their presence with this partnership and to open the beautiful new AMR Care Center ahead of our Opening Weekend celebration.”
Beginning this weekend, AMR will be the exclusive healthcare provider of ISM Raceway, which includes providing medical equipment and personnel for all events, managing the Care Center operations and providing ambulances to handle emergency situations.
“The new ISM Raceway is truly an amazing facility,” said Glenn Kasprzyk, AMR Arizona Chief Operating Officer. “We’re thrilled to be part of it and excited to continue the partnership for many years to come. Providing healthcare services to the fans and employees at the raceway is our privilege.”
Prior to this partnership, AMR has provided emergency medical services on property during Monster Energy race weekends since 1988. AMR employs more than 28,000 clinicians and support personnel, operating a fleet of more than 6,200 vehicles around the country.
