Reaume Brothers Racing (RBR) is proud to announce that Douglasville, Georgia native, Mason Massey, will make his NASCAR Gander Outdoor Truck Series debut in the upcoming race at Iowa Speedway, June 15, 2019! [Piloting the #34 Chevrolet Silverado]
Massey, 22 years old, is a 17-year racing veteran with wins in many different types of race cars which include Legends and Late Models. Massey is a former U.S. Legends Pro National Champion and has recorded multiple wins (including the prestigious Alabama 200) while driving Late Models for Bill Elliott Racing. From asphalt to dirt, Massey is also an accomplished Dirt Late Model racer, and has accumulated multiple wins from the dirt track to add to his already talented resume.
Josh Reaume, the owner of the #33 and #34 NASCAR GOTS trucks and Reaume Brothers Racing, also serves as the Crew Chief for Josh Bilicki in the NASCAR Xfinity Series – who drives the #93 Chevrolet Camaro for RSS Racing. Reaume Brothers Racing is in their second full season in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series and has started the season off strong (finishing 6th at Daytona in the series opener) and has rode that momentum throughout the season. RBR has continued to rack up strong finishes, including last weekend where the team collected an organizational best finish at Texas Motor Speedway! [Josh Reaume finished 14th piloting the #33 and Scott Stenzel finished 16th piloting the #34 out of the 32-truck field]
Massey’s Chevrolet Silverado will be sponsored by Hicklin Door Services (Des Moines, IA), Anderson Power Services (Winston, GA), Liberty Chevrolet (Villa Rica, GA), Hudson’s Hickory House (Douglasville, GA), and Special Olympics Georgia.
“I am really excited to be making my NASCAR debut at Iowa Speedway, and I cannot thank Josh (Reaume) enough for taking a chance on me. Our goals going in are to keep the fenders on it and try to run all 200 laps”, said Massey.
“I really need to thank my sponsors. Without them, this would not be possible. For them to believe in me enough to back me, is incredible. This deal came together really fast, and I appreciate these guys stepping up”, said Massey.
**The race will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1, from Iowa Speedway at 8:30 p.m. EST.**
