NASCAR has released the post-race penalty report from Michigan International Speedway and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
In Cup:
#3-Austin Dillon and #8-Daniel Hemric were penalized for:
Section 20.7.4 Alternator
Note: Alternator was not functional.
Their crew chiefs were fined $25,000. The eams were assessed with the loss of 10 owner points and 10 driver points.
In XFINITY:
#19-Brandon Jones’ crew chief was fined $5,000 for a loose lug nut.
There were no penalties in the Truck Series.
