A familiar Mountain Dew paint scheme is headed to Martinsville Speedway.
It was announced this morning that the iconic green-and-black paint scheme, which won at Kansas last year and the fan vote for the best scheme of 2018, will adorn the No. 9 Chevrolet on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Virginia oval.
The green-soda drink has fueled wins for the No. 9 driver on two different occasions. In addition to the 2018 Kansas win, Elliott piloted the Mountain Dew/Little Caesars Chevy to Victory Lane earlier this year at Talladega.
Last year @kansasspeedway, @chaseelliott took his @MountainDew paint scheme to Victory Lane. #TBT
Next weekend he’s bringing it back for @MartinsvilleSwy and looking to repeat the same result. #DewxMartinsville #DEWnation pic.twitter.com/dWgkzeNYyG
