StarCom Racing and Jeffrey Earnhardt part ways UPDATE: Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver, Jeffrey Earnhardt and StarCom Racing have decided to mutually part ways for the time being. Earnhardt, the fourth-generation driver, has piloted the No. 00 VRX Simulators Chevrolet for the first five MENCS events in 2018.(3-19-2018)

Entry List for the STP 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway is posted, 38 teams/drivers [for 40 spots] are listed.
Some of the drivers entered include: #15-Chastain, #23-Gaulding, #51-Rhodes, #55-Sorenson, #72-Whitt, #96-Kennington.
Since only 38 cars are entered, all drivers will make the race.

Sorenson expects to continue driving for Premium Motorsports:Reed Sorenson will be back in a Cup car driving for Jay Robinson and Premium Motorsports at some point in the next three weeks, the driver confirmed to The Racing Experts. When asked when his next Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race was, Sorenson replied, “Martinsville or Texas would be one of the two.”[More](3-19-2018)

Sad News – Rich Rubenstein: Rich Rubenstein, of Matthews, N.C., passed away at age 72 on March 1 following a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer. Rich’s intro to motorsports came in the form of an offer from a friend who worked for CRC Chemicals. The company was starting a racing program and needed someone to oversee it. [More](3-19-2018)
