The eNASCAR Heat Pro League was back in action Wednesday night for the 2020 season opener at Homestead-Miami Speedway – and it was a night to remember for Season 1 veterans.
Justin Brooks, who dominated much of the 2019 season for JTG Daugherty Throttlers, returned to his winning ways on the Xbox side of things. He started from pole in his No. 37 entry and outdueled the field to open the 2020 campaign with a victory. For the record, that’s win No. 4 for Brooks in just 13 career races – pretty dominant win percentage to say the least.
The PlayStation boys were next up and boy did they put on a show. A clean race from start-to-finish saw Hendrick GC’s Nick Jobes claw his way from 11th on the grid and run a flawless pit strategy to earn his first career victory. Despite going winless in 2019, Hendrick continued to believe in Jobes and kept him on the roster to run the No. 25 Ally machine. And tonight, Jobes paid it all back.
The eNASCAR Heat Pro League returns to action next Wednesday, April 29, where drivers will go road course racing at Watkins Glen International. Coverage kicks off at 8 P.M. ET on eNASCAR.com/live.
