Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern reports that NASCAR may not be able to compete at Watkins Glen in August.
New York Governor Cuomo may not grant the sport a quarantine waiver. Currently, anyone entering New York from select states (including North Carolina) are asked to quarantine for 14 days after arriving in the state.
NASCAR industry execs are increasingly skeptical that @NYGovCuomo will grant the sport a quarantine waiver for the August @WGI weekend, which would put that race in serious doubt.
