NASCAR has issued the post-race penalty report for the New Hampshire Motor Speedway race weekend:
8/2/2020 (New Hampshire pre-race inspection)
Sections 184.108.40.206b: Overall vehicle weight Note: Improperly mounted ballast
#32-LaJoie – Team has been assessed with the loss of 10 owner points and 10 driver points.
#43-Wallace – Team has been assessed with the loss of 10 owner points and 10 driver points.
8/2/2020 (New Hampshire post-race inspection)
Sections 10.9.10.4: Tires and Wheels Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.
#2-Keselowski – Crew chief (Jeremy Bullins) has been fined $10,000.
#8-Reddick – Crew chief (Randall Burnett) has been fined $10,000.
#19-Truex, Jr. – Crew chief (James Small) has been fined $10,000.
#14-Bowyer – Crew chief (Johnny Klausmeier) has been fined $20,000 and suspended from the next NASCAR Cup Series Championship Points Event.
In the XFINITY Series:
Level L2 Penalty: Section 5.1.a.d: Private vehicle testing. Note: Violation of the NASCAR private testing policy.
Driver (Alex Labbe) has been assessed with the loss of 75 championship points>
Owner (Mario Gosselin) has been fined $50,000 and the loss of 75 owner points.
